Designed a retractable pen to be printed through a cutting edge printing technology called STEP. The click mechanism is the most popular mechanism found in retractable pens. There is a cam that is rotated by the push of the button— each step in the rotation causes the pen to go into either the retracted or extended positions. The pen is the size of a typical pen but it was 3D printed out of ABS toner particles.
