Double Action Spring Loaded Twist Case
Designed and constructed a 3D printed spring loaded twist case. The case uses a similar mechanism to what can be found in switch blades but instead of actuating in a linear fashion, the case uses rotational motion and a torsion spring to open and close the door. As the base of the case is twisted a torsion spring is loaded. When the base reaches a certain point in its rotation a latch is actuated which releases the door and torsion spring.
